    It feels good to be here again.  How are you feeling?  I see Alison is still not writing, but that's okay, we all have times when we need to concentrate on other things, in other places, and keep our family, our thoughts...out of the limelight.  The people who loves us understand that.  The ones who don't...don't matter, do they?  These are the times we find out who is who.
     
    I just came by to share my love with you.  To tell you about Laura patting me on the back today and telling me what a "Good Job, Mommy!" I was doing, washing the chocolate milk off the wall she'd splashed when she threw her cup in a temper tantrum.  When I told her she would not be throwing cups anymore, to use her words when angry, she replied "Now you're talking!"
    That kid.  Oh boy.  I thought of Soph, and knew she'd come up with something like that too.  Aren't we blessed and lucky, every day?

    Oh and before I forget, here's a new recipe for you, incase you are getting tired of snickerdoodles. I though perhaps you might have rhubarb plant growing in your yard. Or know someone who does. :) 
     
    Rhubarb Crisp
     
    1 C. Brown Sugar Packed
    1 C. Flour
    3/4 C. Oats
    1/2 C. Butter (melted)
    1 t. Cinnamin

    4 C. Sliced Rhubarb

    1 C. Sugar
    2 T. Cornstarch
    1 C. Water1
    1 t. vanilla
    -Mix B. Sugar, Flour, Oats, cinnamin and Melted Butter. Press into a buttered 8in. dish, top with rhubarb.
    -In sauce pan combine Sugar, Cornstarch, Water and vanilla, cook untill clear and getting thick. Pour on-top of rhubarb. Top with rest of oat mixture. Bake at 350 or 375 for 45 minutes.
     
    I exchanged some fresh strawberries for rhubarb...maybe a cup and half or so...ooooo, it was yummy!

    I just saw the Sophia making Ice Crippy video. Sweet, although I thought that Calla was 6 and Sophie was 2. Don't tell me that it's a 2 year old trying her hand at the Ice Crippy. That is one tall 2 year old! Or did I get Sophie and Calla mixed up?

    Everyone should have Prince on their playlist...I have about 9 of his songs on mine and not ONE of them showed up on the SOL.  *grumble*
